London a great city
July 12th, 2009 by traveler

I was in London with some friend to make sightseeing and so I visit a lot of London’s great attractions. One day we go to see the Tower of London and the Tower bridge and then go for a walk trough the themse. In the tower we see the crown jewels. They are so amazing, I was fascinated of them. At the tower we have a lot of luck because a big ship wants to pass the tower bridge and so we see how the middle part of the bridge opened. We also went through Madame Tussaud’s to see the wax figures. It is incredible how similar they are to the real persons. One day we spent in Notting hill and looked around to see some of the places of the film “Notting hill” and also went over the Portobello Market.

I could go on and on but then this would not be a blog this would be a book. We have visited so many places that I only tell which and if somebody has a question about them just ask me. We visited the Palace of Westminster, the Westminster Abbey, the Buckingham Palace with the St. James Park, the London eye at night, the Saint Paul’s cathedral, the St. Margreth’s church, Big Ben and the house of Parliament, the Hyde Park, Greenwich and the changing of the guard.

It was a a great time we spent in London with all the great things to see. I would recommend a London visit to every body!

    Hi Lisa,

Three days are not enough for this city. Maybe you can arrange it to stay there for a longer time to see al the fantastic places. Nevertheless the most interesting things for me were the Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge and certainly Big Ben.
I hope this helps you a little.

    Cheers,
    Grace

Well the Buckingham palace is a great building and there is also the changing of the guards which I thing is a must see on a trip to London. In summer it’s every day in winter every second day on the forecourt of the Buckingham palace at 11:30 a.m.
The tower of London is the old prison and strong house of London every evening at 10p.m. is the ceremony of the keys but I have not see it and the tower bridge is an impressive construction because of the open able middle. Big Ben is a part of the house of parliament and should definitely been seen on a visit to London.
If you stay longer I would recommend you to visit the Hyde Park and Notting Hill.

    Hi Grace,

Not about sightseeing, but about accommodation. Should I stay near the centre of the city or is it better to stay a little outside and go inside by local traffic. What would you recommend me?

    Cheers,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

I would prefer living near the centre because otherwise you have to go inside the town via tube and they are so extremely overfilled in mornings!

    Hi Lisa,

We walked the most ways and if it was to far away we took the tube or busses but nor during rush hour.
