Frankfurt

It is one month ago that I visit Frankfurt with some friends. Frankfurt is a quit busy city. There is a river in the city with a lawn on the side. We rest there to have a look on the Frankfurt skyline and it was so chilly. On evening we went trough Sachsenhausen. This is a district of Frankfurt and very popular for evening activities. We have a lot of fun in the bar “Oberbayern”. We would recommend this bar for all young people who visit Frankfurt. It has also sum nice clubs were you can have party.

But we also go to see same culture. So we make a guided tour trough the city. We also visited some museums.

The Palmgarden was also very interesting to see. There were different houses with different climatic zones like tropical, desert and also one butterfly house.

    Hi Angelo,

In three days you can not see all the nice places of Frankfurt. So I would say you should stay one day in the centre of the city walk through the Main and in the evening go to Sachsenhausen, this is a district of Frankfurt and lies on the other side of the Main. And stay inside of the traditional pubs where their serve “Apfelwein” it is something similar to cider. On day I would spent to go to the Palmengarten because it is amazing to see all these different plants in the different climatic houses. And one day I would do a guided tour and visit one or two museums.

I hope I could help you,
    Jose

    Hi Jose,

Thank you for the information. Does Frankfurt have a good local traffic system and is it easy to use?

    Cheers,
    Angelo

    Hi Angelo,

Frankfurt has a very good local traffic system there are tubes, busses, trams and suburban trains running. So it is no problem to come from one place to another. If you want to inform you about the local traffic system before you arrive, you could use the website of RMV that is the company which practices the local traffic system.

    Regards,
    Jose

    Hi Jose,

So many different transport means. Are they well-arranged or is it easy to get lost?

    Cheers,
    Angelo

    Hi Angelo,

They are well arranged there are maps available on which you can see the suburban trains and tube ways which I thing you will you use most. And the people at the tourist information will also help you with that if you have any problems with this.

    Regards,
    Jose

    Hi Angelo,

Frankfurt has several different special foods. But we tasted two of them where fantastic. The one is “Frankfurter Gruene Soße” this are cooked potatoes with eggs and a sauce out of seven different herbs. And gref voelsing it is a sausage made of beef and is very special for Frankfurt. The butcher is on the Hanauer Landstrasse where they also have a snack bar.

    Regards,
    Jose
